Pre Moonshot Info Session
Moonshot Pioneer Pitch is coming to Winslow this April 8th and 9th. Two full days of FREE in person seminars, to discuss any and all aspects of owning your own business: from branding, to securing funding, human resources, best social media practices, keeping your books and MORE. This event is open to anyone with an idea or anyone who already owns a business but wants to pivot or grow. ANYone, not just those in Winslow. Driving to Winslow is the only requirement from you, apply NOW to pitch your idea to a panel of judges, and potentially win cash and prizes. If the idea of pitching to a bunch of strangers sounds terrifying, think about attending some or all our workshops and presentations to be held at various locations around Winslow that Friday and Saturday.
Still hesitating? Join us this March 11th at 4pm at the Winslow Chamber of Commerce, to answer all your questions as well as help with your application. Small Businesses are the backbone of our rural communities. Being an entrepreneur gives you the freedom to make your own decisions while being creative with something you are passionate about. Is it easy? Absolutely not. But the joy our local business owners have in knowing they are making a difference in their own community, is priceless. By attending the Pre – Moonshot Event many, if not all, of your questions can be answered: What is a pitch? Can you help me with mine? Do I need to have a business plan? Who will the guest speakers be? How much money can I win? Is my idea "good enough"? I need help with my application…Can you help with the video portion? How many applications are you accepting? Can I just attend the workshops? All of this information, along with the links to RSVP to the Pre-Event, can be found on the Facebook event page, Moonshot – Pioneer Pitch as well as HERE: https://moonshotpitchpreevent.eventbrite.com
Help me help YOU! There is so much opportunity in our region, let’s take collective action and create an entrepreneurial paradise where all are welcome and there are ample avenues for education and help for success. Pitch applications can be found at www.whynotwinslow.com as well as our local event calendar, which will be populated with our various speakers, as we confirm their times and locations around town. I am looking forward to hearing more about your ideas and how we can make them a reality.
